Our John W. Simpson Sparkling Series honors the man who had the vision to start planting grapes and open Good Harbor Vineyards on the Leelanau Peninsula back in the late 1970s.  This Blanc de Noirs was produced using the Charmat method to keep the fruit flavors found in Pinot Noir up front and present on the nose and palate. This lively wine is certain to stimulate and excite your senses. Our Blanc de Noirs has a beautiful light peach hue from perfectly ripened fruit. Brut in style, this sparkling wine was produced using the Charmat method to preserve the delicious fruit flavors Pinot Noir produces. On the palate, this wine is creamy but has balanced acidity and a long finish.

NOSE: Aromas of dark cherry with a hint of strawberry.

PALATE: This sparkling wine is dry in style. Lingering fruit flavors are complimented by a hint of minerality in the background. The creamy texture on the palate and the lovely acidity makes this wine a lovely pairing for seafood or a variety of cheese and crackers.
