Coastal Red
Coastal Red is a blend of the coasts. The newly released blend is 75% Cabernet Franc grown on the Fresh Coast of the Leelanau Peninsula with the additional of 25% Syrah blended from the West Coast.
NOSE: It has beautiful dark fruit notes of blackberry on the nose with a medium body and bright finish.
PALATE: The acid on the end makes this wine ideal to pair with game, grilled skirt steak, brats and other types of sausage, and hard cheese such as fontina or parmesan.

Heavy producing vineyards with a clay pan beneath for water retention in what would be an excessively dry site.
Production Notes
Open top fermented Cab Franc aged for 16 months in french oak. Blended with Syrah to add structure.
